John P. Schilling, MD, is a Board Certified OB/GYN with over 30 years of experience and 23 years in the Henry County area. As one of Atlanta’s most prominent physicians, Dr. Schilling is known for the technical skill, training and integrity he brings to his patients and surgical practice. Over the past seven years, Dr. Schilling has attended over 250 hours of postgraduate training in advanced aesthetics, cosmetic surgery and laser technology. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, American Academy Of Cosmetic Gynecologists, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
We asked Dr. Schilling why he has incorporated cosmetic surgery into his successful obstetric and gynecology practice?
“For many years I have practiced gynecology and obstetrics, my loyal patients routinely inquired as to how to help them with scars, stretch marks, facial aging, sagging abdomens and breasts. As an experienced surgeon, I have expertise in the knowledge of fatty tissue and layers, thus it has been a natural transition to perform liposuction and abdominoplasty procedures. Along with the understanding that my patient’s wanted to enhance their well-being and health, they also want to portray this feeling with their appearance. I have completed over 250 hours of post-graduate training over the last 7 years in the specialty field of cosmetic procedures, surgical and non-surgical and will continue to add more of what my patient’s want in the future. It is my goal to achieve fellowship in the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and subsequently certification by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.”
